TUESDAY, 8/15/23 - The Penfield Business Chamber was on hand to welcome the Greater Rochester Habitat for Humanity ReStore to its newest location at 1900 Empire Boulevard in the Baytowne Plaza. Several local dignitaries, including Penfield Town Supervisor, Debbie Drawe and Jen Lundsford, Assemblymember, District 135 joined in the Ribbon Cutting and Grand Opening Ceremonies!
MONDAY, 5/20/23 - Penfield Town Supervisor, Debbie Drawe, and members of the Town Hall and Penfield Business Chamber
were on hand for the new Capone’s Bar & Italian Eatery Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on Monday, May 25, 2023. Located at 1811 Penfield Rd., Penfield, NY, Capone’s Italian Eatery is a family owned restaurant, serving authentic pizzas, pastas, salads, subs, and antipasto’s. They are excited to bring something new to the Penfield community, so check them out!
TUESDAY, 2/21/23 - The Tuesday Morning store in Penfield (Panorama Plaza) is among the many locations that are closing across the United States, according to its website. According to the Tuesday Morning website, the closing stores will also be having a closing sale, with everything in their stores being on sale until they permanently close.
TUESDAY, 2/14/23 - PBC Member, Kaitlyn Vittozzi formally launched her business, Penfield Yoga Therapy with a ribbon cutting ceremony on February 14, 2023 with members of the PBC Board, friends, and family in attendance. Congratulations, Kaitlyn!

Penfield Town Supervisor Marie Cinti announced her resignation on Monday, February 6, 2023, to focus on caring for an ill family member.
At this time, Deputy Town Supervisor Debbie Drawe will continue to oversee the day-to-day operations of the Town of Penfield.
Penfield Town Supervisor Marie Cinti said, “I made this decision on my own a few weeks ago; there are simply not enough hours in the day to take care of the Town, to take care of my parents, be present for the rest of my family, and take care of myself. The Supervisor job is a full-time PLUS role—behind the desk as well as in front of the community. I deeply appreciate the support of the entire community, including our staff, over the past year. I am confident the Town of Penfield will be in great hands.”
Deputy Supervisor Debbie Drawe said, “I’d like to thank Marie for her service to the community. I know she cares deeply for the residents of Penfield, and our Town Board will continue forward with the great work Marie started. I will continue overseeing Town operations and want to thank all Town staff members for their continued commitment to providing excellent service to our community.”
